Brief/Overview:

HRA PLANNING was appointed to project manage the delivery of a planning application on a 12.84 hectares site on the edge of Kilkenny city comprising 40,000sqm of residential, office, retail and nursing home uses.

HRA Planning prepared the planning strategy and approach for the site, authored the Environmental Impact Assessment Report with input from specialist sub consultants and negotiated at all stages with Kilkenny County Council. During the process it was also necessary to successfully appeal and judicially review two attempts by the Council to place the site on the Vacant Sites Register
